Best Value* GREAT RATE week long stay (7) nights Note; when booking on-line there will be an option to order travel insurance. ~Testimonials~ Most Memorable Experience My wife and newborn twin daughters had the most memorable experience during a three night stay at the Hidden Treasure Oceanfront "Castle". This property is as depicted, right on the cliffs of the Pacific, with amazingly beautiful views from every room. The house is so privately tucked into the trees that we felt we were on an island. This rugged coastal area and this property were covered with wild flowers, rattlesnake grass, ferns, pines and small colorful cactus tucked into every crack of the rocks. The designer or architect of this house deserves an award at making the house part of that nature. The bed was comfortable, the linens and entire house clean, the kitchen would allow any chef to make an outstanding meal. Many great hikes in the area and history of Fort Ross. Only one restaurant close by (Timber Cove Lodge with good- reasonably priced menu), but I would recommend packing in your food. Don't forget the amazing hot tub, which is on a cliff, over the ocean. Getting access to the property was flawless and the management was eager to help with any problems. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope I can make this an annual trip for my wife and I. A Weekend Away My family and I just returned from a weekend away at Hidden Treasure - and continue to be amazed how relaxed we all feel after the two day get away. The place is so spectacular, and each time we visit the owner has completed a new upgrade. How many places are finished and furnished so beautifully, amazing location, complete privacy, only about 2 hours drive from home near SF, and then the luxury of a five star restaurant 5 mins down the road at Timber Cove. We've been coming to Hidden Treasure for the last few years, and will continue to make it our special getaway on the coast. Our routine is to stop at the Whole Foods in Petaluma and stock up on their fabulous seafood, and then have a cook out each night on the deck. The owner has installed a fabulous BBQ which makes it a no-brainer to sit there, cook dinner and enjoy a nice Sauvignon Blanc. And a special suggestion - on our way home we detoured to a local market at Fort Ross school - the locals were very friendly and we bought some delicious pastries for lunch. Here on our honeymoon we enjoyed lazy afternoons, and jaunts to local hidden beaches. We also loved the well-equipped kitchen and bedroom views, which afforded us with whale sightings. AmenitiesLayout: Perched on a bluff about 50 feet over crashing waves, the house offers great privacy, even though neighbors are within 100 yards on either side; the design of each lot is tasteful enough that many of the houses cannot be viewed from each other. Unique architectural detail nestled amongst the rocks and pines. Living Area: From the stunning, unique, wrought-iron banister that dominates the home's core, to the manner in which the house was built directly into the hillside and the views from literally every room, Hidden Treasure is as much a wonder in its design as in its location. The main level offers a large stone fireplace in the living room, a well equipped kitchen, one-half bath, dining with stone waterfall door opening to patio. All rooms with ocean views. The upper level boast the master bedroom and full bath also with spectacular ocean views and built within the natural elements of the exterior surroundings.
