Owner Suki Waters is a local Native American descendant, guide and kayak instructor who has been working with the public in outdoor recreation and safety since 1979.
Our other guides and affiliates are outdoor/travel enthusiasts, professionals, guides and instructors with their own experience and expertise in outdoor recreation.
Most of our Guides and Instructors work Part-time to help provide safe and educational activities on the water and in our local outdoors. All of our Guides and Instructors are Certified in Outdoor Safety and Risk Management. Most have been or are active in Volunteer or Professional positions involving Recreation, Safety or Education.
We share our experience in providing safety and environmental education and promoting responsible eco-tourism as well as local and global volunteerism.
Our planet is mostly water. Our activities are always near water. Water-treks also organizes fund-raisers and educational tours for youth groups, schools, volunteer, environmental and recreational groups or organizations and outdoor activities for business seminars.
Sponsorship programs are available for our recreation education scholarships, volunteer activities, and selected recreational and educational events.
